There is something funny going on in this picture. While it may not be the photographer's fault, it is distracting and making it feel like it is listing to the right. When you compare the level of some obvious horizontal lines (such as the tiles at the bottom, which lies about 1.4 degrees off horizontal) and the jagged top of the wall (which appears to be off horizontal by 0.4 degrees) and compare it against the red line on the obelisk, which is perfectly vertical, something in the level of the image stops making sense (Is the obelisk on a slope? I find that unlikely in Chicago). I would have cropped the image slightly, to reduce the importance of the most distorted lines. I think this apparent background tilt may be the result of some barrel distortion inherent to the lens of the camera, but it does make me wonder if there were other steps that could have been taken in the composition of the shot that could have mitigated this effect--such as taking it at a longer focal length, from a longer distance (though this might detract from the already nice perspective). Usually in point-and-shoot cameras, the shortest focal length suffers the most from flawed optics, and is the most likely to be distorted.
Overall a nice shot with solid composition, but I feel that the flaw in the lens does take away from the overall impact of the image.
